Jesus Walks on the Sea

Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat

and go before Him to the other side,

while He sent the multitudes away.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.

Now when evening came, He was alone there.

But the boat was now in the middle of the sea,

tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.



Now in the fourth watch of the night

Jesus went to them,

walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw Him

walking on the sea,

they were troubled, saying,

"It is a ghost!"

And they cried out for fear.



But immediately Jesus spoke to them,

saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."



And Peter answered Him and said,

"Lord, if it is You,

command me to come to You on the water."



So He said, "Come."

And when Peter had come down

out of the boat,

he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,

he was afraid;

and beginning to sink

he cried out, saying,

"Lord, save me!"



And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand

and caught him,

and said to him,

"O you of little faith,

why did you doubt?"

And when they got into the boat,

the wind ceased.



Then those who were in the boat

came and worshiped Him,

saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

Happy! Happy!



Well, yeah, it's Mel's Bday. ^-^

If anyone wonders why I wrote this at such sn insanely early time in the morning (yeah, as if anyone would notice. Our dear reader probably wouldn't have checked till they've read this, I'm blogging now for quite a few reasons:

1) So that I have to wake up early and not turn up ultra-late in dashing to school (although the previous time I took the car).

2) The previous reason, cos I just don't ant to spoil my bday.

3) I'm going shopping later and I'd be too tired to blog later.

There you have it.

I'm so curious, no body wants to tell me what I'm going to get for my bday. I could die even before I reach school you know, then I'll never find out what they've stashed away in those tenderly wrapped newspaper bundles. Then again, right now I'm quite peeved, since I was collecting my free gift at neopets and received a plain white toilet bowl. Sigh...

Neopets is a last resort, many, many people out there play it because they don't have any other option in life. Boredom is fatal (or at least I learnt that from Anna).

And for neopet lovers, I kidding. (For neopet haters, ignore the previous sentence)

And to all those who think my blog looks like funeral ground... well, maybe it does, come to look at it carefully (those weirdo wax candles clinging to a tree which couldn't have possibly grown such roots if not genetically modified. Heh, but I like it... hey, it's better than my previous and it's not my fault if anyone feels so moved they spoil the parpet flooring with tears right? ^-^

Cabbage soup stinks I tell ya, and brocolli rocks!
