Jesus Walks on the Sea

Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat

and go before Him to the other side,

while He sent the multitudes away.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.

Now when evening came, He was alone there.

But the boat was now in the middle of the sea,

tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

Now in the fourth watch of the night

Jesus went to them,

walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw Him

walking on the sea,

they were troubled, saying,

"It is a ghost!"

And they cried out for fear.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them,

saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

And Peter answered Him and said,

"Lord, if it is You,

command me to come to You on the water."

So He said, "Come."

And when Peter had come down

out of the boat,

he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,

he was afraid;

and beginning to sink

he cried out, saying,

"Lord, save me!"

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand

and caught him,

and said to him,

"O you of little faith,

why did you doubt?"

And when they got into the boat,

the wind ceased.

Then those who were in the boat

came and worshiped Him,

saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

The little devil story

STORY TIME!!! READ THE PORTION BELOW, PLUS THE DISCLAIMER!!!

Devils go to school you know.

Devils take exams too.

One day four little devils were supposed to do a take home test.

Devil teacher: The test question is 'give me one reason why men should not be chirstian'.

So the four little devils went home to...
1) Study
2) Ask fro help
3) Surf the net

The next day...

Devil teacher: Give me one reason why men should not be christian.

Little devil no.1: Tell them 'THERE IS NO GOD'!

Devil teacher: Stupid! How can there be no God. Look at the world. Someone must have created it. It is so complex and full of ecosystems, cycles, elements etc.etc. It couldn't have poped out of nowhere. Look at the universe, there are so many stars and planets. They could't have poped out of no where either! Who will believe that there is no God?

Little devil no.1: *Sobs*.

Devil teacher: A better answer would be, tell them there is NO PURPOSE. So what if there is a God?

So the little devil no.1 got 30/100.

Devil teacher: Give me one reason why men should not be christian.

Little devil no.2: Tell men 'THERE IS NO SIN'!

Devil teacher: Fail! How can you tell them there is no sin. Men sin naturally, in fact they sin very well... they lie, they cheat, they are sexually immoral. Of course everyone knows that there's sin!

Little devil no.2: *Cowering in fear*.

Devil teacher: Tell them instead that it is okay to sin. It is okay as long as no one catches them...

So little devil no.2 got 40/100.

Devil teacher: Give me one reason why men should not be christian.

Little devil no.3: Tell them 'THERE IS NO JESUS'!

Devil teacher: @$%^^%$%^&**!!! This reason is stupider than the first two. How can you think of such an answer. Everyone bases their calander on him. They have Good Friday, Easter, Christmas when they have sales and fancy lights! Worst of all B.C. means Before Chist!

Little devil no.3: *Lying demoralised in a pool of tears*.

Devil teacher: Tell them there is NO IMPORTANCE! Jesus is someone in history, but he is not important. He was just a good man but is insignificant in out lives.

Little devil no.3 did even worse. 10/100! Devil teacher was just as demoralised. 75% of his students failed and the current msg was F9.

Devil teacher (to last little devil): You are my last hope! Give me one reason why men should not be christian.

Little devil no.4: tell them 'THERE IS NO HURRY'!

Devil teacher: EXCELLENT! Being so tied down to routine, many people think tomorrow is bound to come and don't pause to think about what will happen to them when they die. Even if they do, they will put of the time they spent with their creator... untill one day when they have no more time to change...

And little devil no.4 got 90/100 marks!
