*.* Sea of Galilee *.*

Jesus Walks on the Sea

Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat

and go before Him to the other side,

while He sent the multitudes away.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.

Now when evening came, He was alone there.

But the boat was now in the middle of the sea,

tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

Now in the fourth watch of the night

Jesus went to them,

walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw Him

walking on the sea,

they were troubled, saying,

"It is a ghost!"

And they cried out for fear.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them,

saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

And Peter answered Him and said,

"Lord, if it is You,

command me to come to You on the water."

So He said, "Come."

And when Peter had come down

out of the boat,

he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,

he was afraid;

and beginning to sink

he cried out, saying,

"Lord, save me!"

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand

and caught him,

and said to him,

"O you of little faith,

why did you doubt?"

And when they got into the boat,

the wind ceased.

Then those who were in the boat

came and worshiped Him,

saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

Why does everyone seem so gloomy these days? I can't find anyone to have a nice chat with. Not that it really matters.
I've been doing a bit of retail therapy... if I needed it in the first place, new trousers, new belts... food! Yeah!
I'm going to do more shopping tomorrow!
My second watch died. I drowned it by accident. It didn't last more than two weeks. Sobs.
I love my goldfish.
Anyway, I just typed out a poem for fun. It's a long time since I've composed anything.
If you're now a lit fan, ignore the below.

On my Way Home

I wonder where the road went
It took a sudden turn
And vanished into pebble-littered,
white snow covered earth
I wonder where the road went

I wonder where the road began
Somewhere where fires burn
and shadow colored cinders heated
spun across the hearth
I wonder where the road began

I'm rather lost, I think
my path went slightly down that lane
But it faded right into a fog
and I was lost again

I wonder where the road will go
If somewhere past those ferns
I find that pathway I had lost
And get going on the turf
I wonder where the road will go

I've misplaced my way you see
while on a rambling roam
Now I think I need to find a road
on my way home...

P.S. That's the title to my new book... if you guessed. I saw what that weirdo newage guy Kitaro looks like. He makes me ashamed to have a character named after him.
